Religious unity in religious divergence is an oxymoron tossed out by the modernist ecumaniacs, like Barron and Bergoglio.

DIVERGENCE is an oxymoron???
Wut??
WHAT in the World - ALL OVER THE WORLD - Do you think is going on in the Celebration of The Mass?? Many into One.
Thats the WHOLE deal behind The ONE Church... not thousands of differing ways....just One.

Some bishops, here in the U.S., have lifted their dispensations of the Sunday obligation to attend Holy Mass; others have not. Many bishops have violated canon law by prohibiting Holy Communion on the tongue; a few have not.
Where's the "unity" in Bergoglio's "synonal church"?

IS THAT WHAT DOMINATED YOUR THOUGHTS IN MASS TODAY?
Really?

No, Murph. But one thought I had today was that I was at the exact same traditional Mass as my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents had attended every Pentecost Sunday of their lives.
My main thought today was about the descent of the Holy Ghost upon the apostles and our Blessed Mother and how fortunate I was to be a Catholic.
But here's a little excerpt from Bergoglio's sermon today:
The first advice offered by the Holy Spirit is, “Live in the present”. The present, not the past or the future. The Paraclete affirms the primacy of today, against the temptation to let ourselves be paralyzed by rancour or memories of the past, or by uncertainty or fear about the future."

Where does Bergoglio come up with this stuff, Murph? He's such a liar.
The whole point of Pentecost was to provide the apostles with the strength, wisdom and fortitude to spread the Gospel of Christ to the current and future generations.
To ignore both the past and future is very dangerous, especially for a pope to preach it.
I wonder if he ever heard of the hymn, "Faith of Our Fathers" (It was curated in memory of Catholic martyrs persecuted by the Church of England in the time of Henry VIII and Elizabeth)

Ebb Tide, the German bishops are behaving like heretics and schismatics, not the first time this has happened in Catholic history.
The question is, what does the Church teach?
If some go against the teachings of the Church, that is not a reflection on the Church nor on its teachings, but on the individuals themselves.
As to different covid rules in different dioceses: first, there are different circumstances in different dioceses, and second, these are disciplinary matters unrelated to faith or morals.
I often feel discouraged about the state of the world and/or the state of the Church today, and what helps me is to read about history. That reassures me that things have pretty much always been discouraging, and any periods that have been less so are the anomalies.

Thankfully, sinful men do not define The Church.
Today we learned where the True Spirit of the Church comes from.
The Burning Bush was on fire.... Yet did not consume.
The Tongues of Pentecost Fire beheld the Apostles, and the were not harmed by the Flames.
The Church is of the same. It is a flame that cannot be extinguished- nor will it consume. No matter how hard flawed sinful men will try to blow that flame out. You have to have Faith in the Spirit.... And The Church...

I think you keep hoping for this Pope to all of sudden have some miraculous change of position...
He cant - he is theologically and intellectually beneath the expectations of the Chair of St. Peter -as we are, and should be accustomed to - as he had as much admitted to at the time of his election...
He's not lying, as much as he is "winging it"... with guidance from a good dose of Liberation Theology and neo-Marxist leanings from the region of the world he spent his entire life in.
There had to be a reason for this.
