Check this page for College of the Ozarks financial aid info: https://www.cofo.edu/Scholarships Apparently, students can apply for federal aid but it does not appear to be administered through the school. It is still a lever for the feds, though.

The assertion was that the school takes money from the feds; they do not. I am familiar with the school due to some friends of my brother whose daughter attended. My brother is also a donor.

They weren't targeted because of some federal student loans, they were targeted because of what they stand for. College of the Ozarks is fighting back. It's not over yet.
