This just hardens my first impression of him as a Jesuit. He is not a man of God. He is a secular politician. He has done more to make us question whether he is a genuine Catholic. Only a man with questionable gender ethics would do this.

Aside from the religious aspect, it’s in very bad taste.
It just seems to be following the trend in “artwork” at the Vatican these days.
From the monstrosity in the popes audience hall to the hideous manger scenes they have put up.
Gone are the days of actual beautiful artwork like The Pieta‘. I saw that at the NY World’s Fair in the 60’s being about 10 years old and it is a stunning piece of work.
The stuff these days is just downright Satanic in feel.
Catholics are taught that whoever sits on Peters throne is infallible.
