RE: Has not John Piper himself had some recent issues with his theology?
Piper’s theology is sound but his APPLICATION of his theology in real life is awful. He wrote an article publicly stating that he was going to boycott the November 2020 elections because he could not vote for either Joe Biden or Donald Trump criticizing the personal morality of the latter as justification for not voting for him.
Ive got to ask. How many have not voted for someone because of morality in the past, saying they could never do it, but did for 45. This forum has spent years tearing down people based on their morality. Mainly democrats, but some conservatives too. Look at the Ted Kennedy or Bill Clinton posts. There were more threads and responses based on their morality and how that should disqualify them and less on their political positions.
