who are the Arians?
Heretical Christians, followers of the teaching of bishop Arian.
He basically taught that Christ is lesser God, created by the Father. His teaching had many followers, and, one time, maybe even the majority of Christians were Arians. Eventually they withered away, nowadays, I think, only Jehovah Witnesses share Arian beliefs.
