So, where in scripture is this command? It isn't. There is no such thing as "human dignity". The heart of man is desperately wicked. That is why Jesus called on people to repent.
Hey and priests can marry now too. They just have to say they identify as single. So many problems can be solved this way.
Excommunicate them.

Yes. And they were certainly basing it on passages from the OT ... but here’s the thing, that prophet didn’t have to tell the people what folks in Sodom were obviously doing, what they were at their end for being depraved, but was apparently focusing on how they set themselves up to end up depraved.
Neglecting the simple truth of the nature of their depravity once in full bloom has always struck me as dodgy too.
When I look at video and audio of Stowe, I think to myself, “Even if I knew nothing about this man or his job or his politics, I’d rate the chances that he is a homosexual male at approximately 99.98%. He has the classic mannerisms and “look” of a gay male. Gaydar level is pretty much maximum. Wester, on the other hand, is more of a wishy-washy sort who under different circumstances might have turned out differently.
