The judgement for believers is for rewards not salvation.
Salvation is the reward.
Matt 25
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his aright hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his aright hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
The sheep and the goats are together until the judgement. The only thing that separates them is their works. And Jesus makes that very clear.
Luke 13
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
People that call Jesus Lord and think they know Him but are cast out anyway. He says this even more forcefully in Matt 7. You don't have salvation until Jesus says you do. Only Jesus can give you salvation, you can't pronounce it upon yourself just because you read a scripture or some preacher said so.

You are mixing your scriptures. And yes we can have the assurance of out salvation.

Everyone already has salvation thanks to what Christ completed on the cross. All sin has been paid for. The only thing you can do is to reject it, and many do just that.
