These faith groups are not acting in accordance with Scripture and the value it places upon innocent life and the illicit unjust taking of it, which thus requires the death of the one who does so (or whose perjury leads to it).
THE DEATH PENALTY (capital punishment in the Bible) However, I think that perhaps the state can show mercy as an exception to the norm.
