In F.F. v. State of New York, (App. Div., March 18, 2021), a New York state appellate court rejected parents' constitutional challenges to New York's repeal of the religious exemption from mandatory vaccination for school children. The court upheld the repeal, finding that it was a neutral law of general applicability prompted by the measles outbreak, even though the repeal eliminated a religious exemption. The court said in part:
[W]e do not find that the timing of the repeal reveals political or ideological motivation; rather, the record reflects that the repeal simply worked its way through the basic legislative process and was motivated by a prescient public health concern....
[W]e reject plaintiffs' claims that, based upon statements by some of the legislators, the repeal was motivated by religious animus.

This is a free country and "No" is sufficient.
If the gov't wants to press the issue, they will come to understand that it is NOT THEIR CALL!!
Saying, “My body, my choice”, to rationalize killing another human being is OK. But that phrase won’t work when it comes to a shot in the arm?
The courts are corrupt. The judges are communist’s. This decision is not surprising.
Violation of Nuremberg code.
I wonder if US has treaty obligations/ considerations here.
Our own internal law would supersede any treaty. Much the same way even if we are part of the global small arms treaty that calls for the disarmament of all civilian arms out internal law supersedes that. For vaccines the Supreme Court’s already decided this one
“Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11, was a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court upheld the authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws. The Court’s decision articulated the view that individual liberty is not absolute and is subject to the police power of the state. “
You forget. Those aren’t human beings to them.
Any compulsory vaccination would have to be predicated on 3 major factors if the state wants to make an argument that public safety supersedes individual choice.
1. The disease is widespread.
2. The disease has a high morbidity and mortality
3. The vaccine has been proven to be safe and effective.
I don’t think anyone could conceivably argue that points 2 and 3 are true.
Compared to other plagues of the past, Covid 19 ranks low with respect to mortality as a percentage of the population.
