Having worked in the forest product industry for 40 years, I can only imagine the years of permits and hearings/fines if a company said they were going to cut down 1000 “old growth” oaks.
Looks like they could make then out of stainless with an oak veneer on the outside so no one could tell the difference. Hard to imaging it surviving 200 years.
