Then why did Jesus have to suffer and die?

The second Adam and Eve sinned, the human race was doomed to die. God’s law demanded it and there are no exceptions. Blood must be shed. The only chance we had was that the Lawgiver’s blood be shed and we be given a chance at salvation. We were the ones condemned to die. Jesus Christ took our places. (that is the law of “sin and condemnation”) God’s law demanded death.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
