Many republicans now fit into the category of being agnostics at very least. Especially those republicans under the age of 40. Why? Because public schools have made a strong, broad based effort to scrub as many signs of Christianity out of public school curriculum and mindset as they possibly can. It’s still very common to hear about teachers and coaches losing their jobs because they dared to say a prayer with their students.
It might be interesting to see the Biden voters broken down by racial groups—probably the irreligious are a much higher percentage of whites than of blacks or Hispanics. But with 1000 total respondents they may not have a big enough pool for trustworthy results.
