Outstanding detail on the Rembrandt! Thanks. I loved the European and Oriental interiors, and the veriations in perspective—between close-ups and vistas of Babylon.
Finally, I noticed the writing. Sometimes in Hebrew, sometimes in another language. Only Rembrandt made it clearly written from right to left.
I love Rembrandt’s depiction of Belshazzar—he truly looked like his knees knocked and his bowels loosed.

I don't create those close-up details, I happen upon them. To find
five is unprecedented for me. I
had to not merely include but to feature them.
Rembrandt assumed the writing was in Hebrew, which fits the narrative: Belshazzar couldn't read it but Daniel the Hebrew could.
