Todd Hampson is otherwise partaking in defeatism, saying things he cannot know and has no reason to believe based on the hope within us.

The author is walking by sight, not faith. Looking at thing through his own understanding, not His.
I agree with you. I stopped reading as soon as the author said “Only thing that can save is is a revival...and I don’t see it”.
Really? I see prophetically as Joel spoke of this as well as a few alive now or recently - I believe what they say that God is going to have a massive outpouring worldwide - a final harvest before the AntiChrist is revealed.
The lines ARE being drawn very vividly in the open, both IN and OUT of the Church - showing who are the wolves in sheep’s clothing and who are the evildoers - and who is willing to STAND for Righteousness and Truth no matter what Man says.
