Yes, the passage is about that assembling to Him, and the revealing of the man of sin is tied into that assembling departure. But pre-wrath assertion will not allow for that consideration, as if Jesus releasing the antichrist upon the world, unrestrained, is not the beginning of the Time of Jacob's Trouble.

I've not forgotten my promise to dear ebb, that if I am standing closely to him when the rapture occurs, I will grab him by the neck or arm and haul him up with me!

He will see the reality of both the rapture and have a final chance to entrust himself to Christ alone for salvation.

If he does entrust himself to Christ alone, he will go on to heaven to be part of the Body and Bride of Christ and be with Him forever.

If he rejects Christ and salvation, well, he'd fall back to earth to go through the tribulation apart from God.

It would be a terrible fate and I hope better for him!

The great news is that he could come to saving faith in Christ TODAY and know he will be with Christ forever!
