In my travels around the world I have witnessed a “spiritual tsunami” of evil drifting. Entire denominations have been caught up in the waves of this tsunami, leaving in their wake the ruins of apathy. The Bible warns clearly that it’s possible for devoted believers to drift from Christ. A Christian who goes after “peace and safety at any cost” and merely hangs onto salvation pays a high spiritual price. So, how can we guard against drifting from Christ and neglecting “so great a salvation”? Paul tells us how: “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away” (Hebrews 2:1).
God isn’t interested in our being able to “speed read” through His Word. But what’s more important is that we “hear” what we read with spiritual ears, and meditate on it so that it’s “heard” in our hearts.
Staying steadfast in God’s Word was no small matter for Paul. He also says, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
Paul isn’t suggesting to these believers that they’re reprobates. Rather, he’s urging them, “As lovers of Christ, test yourself. Take a spiritual inventory. You know enough about your walk with Jesus to know you’re loved by him, that he hasn’t turned from you, that you are redeemed.”
Ask yourself today: How is your communion with Christ? Are you guarding it with all diligence? Are you leaning on him in your hard times? And as you examine your spiritual walk, allow God to show you where you can be strengthened.
False peace, apostasy, false doctrine, false salvation, all to be expected in these last days.
Amos 8:
11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
I pray some copies of the Word get “out there” to the world before total darkness falls.
That’s why I’m basically a one-note-Johnny, especially these last few years. Time is obviously running out.
Free speech is being eradicated and the Word of the Lord is the ultimate target.
But the unbelieving world believes that they have all of the answers. Until they cry for the rocks to fall on them.

I’ve gotten to the point that I just want to see the finish line.
If they don’t want the Word of God, I’ll move on.
I just want to see Jesus.

Here’s a recent example. A neighbor I met, who happened to stop when I was working in my yard. He stopped to talk because of my display of Trump signs. We began to talk and he shared with me that he was a Christian. Though confused between being brought up in both a catholic upbringing as well as Pentecostal.
I ended up having the opportunity to share the Word of God with him. Even providing him with a study Bible. I thought he was receiving understanding.
He was a Trump supporter and when Trump lost he grew really angry wanting to join the militia and stockpile arms.
I responded by asking him, then what? Inherit a world that has turned its back on Christianity? I reminded him, he would not even display a Trump sign or wear a Trump hat. Now he’s going to save the world?
I assured him, this is how the world was prophesied to be in these last days. He rejected the notion we are in the last days and that “this subject” has nothing to do with the Lord.
I shook the dust off and haven’t been moved to witness to him since.

A lot of people are weighted down with love of the world.
Some time back I was in prayer and the following verse kept coming to my Spirit:
Hebrews 12:1

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
From there I began to relate it to a helium baloon. The baloon was tied to the carnal things of life. Material things, concerns, anger, etc. And I was shown, as I cut the bands that weigh me down, the baloon would rise with each detachment. Much like our two natures. One is carnal and one is Spirit.
This world is not our home. We live in temporary shelters but one day soon mortality will cease and we shall be transformed. Without the weight that so easily besets us.
How much longer Lord?
That is the question we have.
If these are not the last days, and should the Lord tarry, how will man survive to see tomorrow?
The world is on the brink of war, nation against nation, brother against brother. How long before the fuse is lit? We live in the age of heightened tensions and expanded technology. How long before a hacker ignites a response and nation attacks nation?
These have to be the last of the last days because in light of advanced technology man would destroy all flesh.
I was thinking of what is soon to come upon this world and that time will not come until we are caught up. Then the war of all wars will soon come to pass. As well as the return of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Matthew 24:21-22
The technology is here. The time of our departure is at hand.
Not certain if this is alluding to a person trying to make themselves “righteous” or what exactly. But the truth is, you are either God’s righteousness in Christ, or you are lost. If you are lost, you are either ignoring the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, or worse, you are attempting to live the Law of God. No one will ever come to know God and be redeemed to the God of the Bible through the Law. Jesus Christ frees believers from the curse of the Law, and IN HIM, we ARE the righteousness of God.
