In the last twenty years, we have seen as a people the near-complete erosion and extinction of conservative policies and programs in US society and politics. The United States is EXPONENTIALLY becoming a secular socialist state while rapidly abandoning and despising our representative republic. Our Judeo-Christian heritage, morality, and values do not dominate our culture and society as they once did which has led to our present ruin. Another reality is that many have never known any other kind of society than what presently exists. Accountability, responsibility, and virtue are “hisses and by-words” in Hollywood, the Media Establishment, social media, College/University Campuses, and in Washington D.C. In the Ivory Tower realms of the Societal Elites, there is also found scoffing and mocking. These groups on the Left absolutely despise “nominal” Christianity and hate even more true Biblical Christianity. They seek to slander Christianity – and especially Christians - at every opportunity while they defend all sorts of godlessness, immorality, and vice. There was, however, a “new wave” in the arena of talk media led by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, etc., who use to lead the current fight for conservatism. These were able ar one time to counter the mainstream Media's secular leftist liberal bent, but now they are unable to stop the EXPONENTAL erosion and corrosion in secular leftist Washington D.C. In light of our day what are conservatives to do? Many conservatives are frustrated, many try to be optimistic, many are frightened, and many have just plain given up.
The sad thing today is that many conservatives have no comprehension of the Kingdom of God, which Jezus Christ will set up at His triumphant return to earth.
The reality is that now that these crucial foundations have completely eroded, they will never come back (Psalm 11:3). Is it hopeless for conservatism? Yes, indeed, if Almighty God is left out of the equation. God’s Word asks the reader of Psalm 11:3, If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The sad thing today is that many conservatives have not been born again and have no comprehension of the Kingdom of God, which Christ will set up at His triumphant return to earth. This glorious truth is clearly taught throughout Almighty God's Word, the Bible. Conservatives, in general, are "church-going” individuals who, "have a form of godliness but no power" (2 Timothy 3:5). Many are biblically illiterate and adhere to church traditions rather than truth. They know nothing of Almighty God's RIGHTEOUS demands required for fallen man (i.e., man with a sinful nature) as revealed in Scripture. When it comes to “A-B-C” knowledge of the simple truths of the Bible, ignorance is to be found greater than understanding. There is little biblical reality or soundness when it comes to what most conservatives really believe.
Conservatism without the Christ of the Holy Scriptures and the RIGHTEOUS perfection of Almighty God is absolutely bankrupt.
Fallen humanity which only practices a “moral lifestyle” and "conservative principles" is still bankrupt and fallen and therefore doomed. The Bible speaks overwhelmingly of the EXPONENTAL godless and lawless conditions that will abound and will be present in the last days preceding Christ’s glorious return (Matt. 24; Rev. 6-19; 19:11-21)!
2 Timothy 3:1-5 states: "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
And in 1 John 2:18, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (This describes a universal attitude or spirit that hates the True Christ of the scriptures.)
In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-7a, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work…"
These conditions have always existed but they have never existed at this EXPONENTIAL intensity and at this EXPONENTAIL global level as seen today. Conservatives must face the reality that these conditions must come to pass before the triumphant return of Christ to earth, without whom there is absolutely no hope. There is no, nor will there EVER be, a man centered conservative utopia on planet earth without Jesus Christ; to even seek such is a demonic delusion and the height of vanity!
What must a Conservative do?
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10:9-11).
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved!" (Acts 16:31).
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil" (Proverbs 3:5-7).
"Have faith in God." (Mark 11:22).
"And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come" (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
There is hope today and it is found only in Jesus Christ, The Savior of the World! "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).
In these trying Last Days before Christ's return in the clouds for His bride; may Conservatives abandon their trust in self righteousness and a conservative optimism by replacing it with a biblical realism and optimism,. In doing so they will ultimately find their hope and trust in Almighty God and His Word alone. Conservatism without Christ is pure vanity and has absolutely no ETERNAL future!
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness! On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
That can be doubly said for their ordained ministers, who ought to know better, but do not; whose seminaries teach little of the True Gospel that it is Jesus that seeks and saves, makes people righteous; and after that, workers of good, not evil.

One cannot be a Biblical Christian and not be a conservative (as we understand the term today), but one can be a type of conservative and not be a Christian. It seems that the type of conservative that a non-Christian usually is falls into the category of libertarian independents, who are fiscal conservatives vs. social conservatives.

Most Conservatives are not born again. Many of them have a sense of pride because they’re anti-communists... but that will not save them.
Part of our mission is to be examples, and to let our lights shine for them.
If we are merely working toward a peaceful patriotic free country ala 1955, where all we want is money, freedom of speech and a patriotic vibe, that does not suffice.
It has to be for freedom of religion, dignity of the human individual and sanctity of life.

I am so sick of these bigotted so called Christians who try to establish what a ‘real’ Christian is and does. They have no right to tell me what constitutes a Christian Than any vile atheist out there in the real world. Show me in the Bible anywhere that states you can’t be a Christian if you vote for socialist.

My friend; Show us all where it doesn’t? Absolute truth is not relative and once you get over that hurtle you will then understand. Almighty God our ETERNAL Creator is an ABSOULUTE who creates in absolutes or in RIGGTEOUSNESS. That is why Jesus died and rose again for all this fallen world (Rom. 10:2-42 Cor. 5:21; 1 John 4:10).
Your real war is with your ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS CREATOR not me or others (Rom. 1:18-32; Eph. 2:1-14).
Start with you and believe in Jesus and then if you humble yourself you will see like we all did. I was once like you (2 Cor. 5:17-21; Eph. 2:1-14). Check out these Bible verses! 🙂
I am a Christian but I am sick and tired of other supposedly Christian putting obstacle in peoples way by stating that if you don’t do it my way then you are not a true Christian. You or I cannot tell anyone that they are not a true Christian. that is up to God and God alone.
You’re a relativistic Christian and the Bible is full of warnings of such. Look my friend; I was were you are right now 30 years ago etc.. you have to choose if you will believe “your” Jesus or the Bible Jesus. Which Jesus will you serve? It’s a crossroads for many; especially conservatives. Start in the Gospel of John and objectively see for your self,don’t take my word for it.

Yes, conservatism in America consists of a diversity types, from those who are militantly libertarian and anti-authority, with some who are locked and loaded and express their dream of taking out a whole company of law enforcement that comes pounding on their door, to liberal types who strongly oppose any physical discipline of children (yes, many even here) plus those in btwn;
And from anti-theists who are antagonistic toward Scripture and the God of it (yes, even on officially pro-God FR), who along with some religious, evidently sanction profanity, soft porn (at least) and vulgarity, etc., being fiscal, not social conservative, to TradCaths who long for a Catholic monarchy (to censor those who reprove them here). But as a group the most socially conservative are evangelicals and TradCaths, yet with whom we have the most extended acerbic debates, due to a shared commitment to doctrine, but opposing foundations for it, that being the ensured veracity of "The Church" versus Scripture (which provided the prophetic and epistemological foundation for it), and thus critically different gospels.

Meaning born again thru penitent, heart-purifying, regenerating effectual faith, (Acts 10:43-47; 15:7-9) which is imputed for righteousness, (Romans 4:5) and is shown in baptism and following the Lord, (Acts 2:38-47; Jn. 10:27,28) and by which faith the redeemed soul is "accepted in the Beloved" on His account (Ephesians 1:6) And the same will go to be with the Lord at death or at His return (Luke 23:43 [cf. 2 Cor. 12:4; Rv. 2:7]; Phil 1:23; 2Cor. 5:8 [“we”]; 1Cor. 15:51ff; 1Thess. 4:17 ) if they have preserved in faith. (Heb. 3:9-14; 10:25-39; Gal. 5:1-4) Glory and thanks be to God.
What?! You mean Mayberry RFD was not what the Lord Jesus had in mind with "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven?" Law and secularism without the Lord and Savior will end up showing their need for both.
