Oh Gracious and Eternal God. How wonderful are Your works, and the goodness You have bestowed on the sons of men. We give You thanks, we give You Honor, we give You Glory, Oh Blessed God and Father. We thank You Dear God, for the multitude of times we read in Your Holy and Precious Word, Your commitment to our children, Your concern for them, Your love over them, Your blessings for them, and Your Salvation open to them. For indeed, Jesus had blessed and spoke of the Kingdom belonging to such as these. We come, Dear God, before You in prayer for our children and our children’s children, especially as we enter into this time of tumult and evil running rampant through our governing bodies. You are Sovereign and You are Holy and You are God, alone. So we repeat in prayer the opening verse: Let Your work [the signs of Your power] be revealed to Your servants and Your [glorious] majesty to their children. (Ps. 90:16). The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. (Deut. 29:29)

Dear LORD, speak to the hearts of our children for the sake of their sons and daughters. Your WORD is Alive and Powerful, doing mighty things in the lives of all who come to You in Faith. May our children take heed to Your Promises and Your Commands especially as we see the world trying so diligently to sabotage all that they are and all that they were created to be. We Pray: We must not hide -- but must tell a future generation the praises of the LORD, His might, and the wonderful works He has performed . . . One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts . . .Teach them to your children, speaking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. . . and LORD please, as opportunity sees fit for us as grandparents, may we remember these words: Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, until I proclaim Your power to the next generation, Your might to all who are to come. (Ps. 78:4, 145:4, 71:18; Duet. 11:19)

Dear LORD, if You tarry, we pray that this next generation will see the folly and err of life outside Your Word. Of the negative effects of those who are bent on calling evil good and good evil. Raise up a generation that are committed to YOU, to the GOSPEL, to KINGDOM life, and to the PROMISE of ETERNAL GLORY, that comes through JESUS CHRIST and the working of the HOLY SPIRIT. Separate them, Dear LORD, in the providence of GRACE and MERCY, so they may escape the dark and be transferred into the KINGDOM OF LIGHT. And then, empower them to be LIGHT to those who are still perishing. YOU and YOU ALONE are THE ONLY HOPE for this world as we wait for the Blessed Coming of our Great GOD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

We end with YOUR GREAT and LOVING PROMISE to all of us who put our HOPE in YOU: Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished in His glorious presence, with great joy—to the only GOD and SAVIOR be GLORY, MAJESTY, DOMINION and AURTHORITY through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD before all time, and now and for all Eternity. AMEN (Jude 1:25)

Father God, we thank You for all the evidence in creation that speaks the majesty of Your Name. Thank You especially for Your Word that is power and Truth.

Lord, on this day we lift up the Senate and ask that they not be totally given over to evil.

We pray in the name of Jesus.
