Or, maybe you mean once saved, always saved?
Quote:
I’m no longer under the schoolmaster. Calvary redeemed me from the curse of the law. However, the law is not made void. The law is still valid for those who attempt to justify themselves under the law. Perhaps you might have that Damascus journey enlightenment. Or are you content being Saul?
I have no idea what you are talking about but it sounds like something Benny Hinn would say.
Read post 84. You’ll get it. Maybe....
Galatians 3:23-25
King James Version
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Paul is specifically talking about the CEREMONIAL law, not the 10 commandment moral law, you know, the one’s he put into our hearts and minds, as part of the NEW COVENANT?
Hebrews 8:
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Isiah 66
22For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
24And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Compare with:
Matthew 5
17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
What law?
Looks like you will be judged by the law since you place yourself under the law. I’m under Grace through Faith. Jesus paid the wages of sin on my behalf.
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
There goes your theory
Do super bowl watchers now have their lamps half full?
Thank you.
I concur.
