Feminism, women’s careerism, no-fault divorce, mommy welfare (state husbandry) and the courts’ unbalanced favoring of wives in divorce judgement$ (heard of ADAM?) changed things. A lot.
The statistic was 80%. I agree with many of the points you made; but for the sake of discussion, let’s say divorce “fault” is 50 -50. So 80% minus 50% is 30% — that’s a wide gray area in which a lot of the problems with society are interacting.
Today’s divorcing woman didn’t invent feminism and most likely didn’t design the indoctrination being shoved down the last 3 generations’ throats, and neither did today’s divorcing husbands. They aren’t the ones who sold out the church to pop psychology and rejection of Biblical truth in the mainstream seminaries, nor invented the Supreme Court liberalizations and destructions of traditonal marriage laws since the early 60s that led have to the present state of family breakdown in all walks of life in this country.
Marriage is a serious undertaking; but few of today’s parents counsel their kids—half or more of them are divorced themselves and subjecting their kids to terrible examples.
