I see people on forums and on the news talking about fighting the evil that we are facing in US and in the world as a whole. How can we fight back is the question and honestly I wish they would stop. It's way passed that time. The Lord has told us that the last days evil would over take the world. You can't stop it, but you can certainly be run over by it. You can also be part of the problem.
The earth was never meant to be infinite. It was created so that mankind might be tested. To choose good from evil. And it had from the very beginning a expiration date.
Prophets were giving visions of the last days and told write what they saw. Not on a whim mind you, but for some very important reasons. The first reason was because through out time, terrible things are going to happen. Everything from earth quakes, famines, wars, and trials that would make people question whether the world was ending. The Lord gave them signs to give mankind hope. Hope that things would get better if they would but endure a little longer.
The Lord also gave signs of the end times so that those that were to live during that period of the earth's history could endure and not be deceived. They wouldn't get caught up in the traps laid by the devil who would have power over the whole world. And as the devil takes over, God would begin to shake men up, bring them low. And not because of hatred or meanness, but because of love. God would make them fear for their lives in order to stir them up to remember Him. So they would repent and get free of the devil. When they don't repent the Lord continues the course until the unrepentant are destroyed.
Rev 16: 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
This is what happened at Sodom and what was going to happen at Nineveh. But the people at Nineveh repented and the Lord spared them.
The people of Sodom had gotten to a state where they were so far gone that not only were they heaping sins on to their own heads, for which they would be judged, but future generations had no chance of salvation. So the Lord destroyed Sodom as a mercy.
The whole world has become Sodom.
There's a couple signs that I've watched with particular interest because these are measurable milestones.
The first is 2 Tim 3.
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Paul goes on to list a whole litany of horrible behavior that will mark the last days.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
There is something hidden in that list, because the very next thing Paul comments on, is the false religions. Paul doesn't just gloss over this, he goes into a bit of detail.
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Jannes and Jambres were the priests in Pharaoh's court. They rejected Moses the prophet and so do these people of the last days they reject the prophets of their day.
When I read Paul's prophesy, this stands out; in the last days heady, high minded, and proud people are fierce and despise those that the Lord calls good. Along with that, is their supposed godliness. They claim to be godly but according to the Lord they are corrupt.
This goes hand in hand with Rev 11. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. The true prophets of the last days that the heady, high minded, and godly in their own minds, despise and reject.
The next sign is Rev 13. This is a very important chapter.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
To understand this, we can look to Rev 14. 1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
When John refers to "...name written in their foreheads", in the simplest terms he's talking about their thoughts. God doesn't physically mark, tattoo, or microchip people. So when John refers to the mark of the devil in their foreheads, he's talking about their thoughts. In other words, ideology. It is the ideology of the world, in every land. Be it, communism, socialism, homosexual agenda, LBGTQ+, feminism, abortion, false religions, fascism, etc...
The sign in the wrist is the same as it's been for thousand's of years. How do you manifest an ideology with your right hand? By raising the right hand to vote, swear allegiance, sustain, or advocate. Both thought and deed they accept the ideology of the devil. But now, they are stopping you from earning a living or doing business if you don't accept the devils ideology. It's happening right now. This is the sign. This is what John saw two thousand years ago. He saw us.
You can't stop it from happening. But you can be part of the problem. Don't be fierce. Don't despise people. Be humble, be meek, be patient.
Matt 5: 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Luke 6: 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
In conclusion, I don't try to figure out the left. There is no logic to their madness. When ever I see a leftist saying another lie, I just read 2 Tim 3 and remember that's what's supposed to happen. This is the sign that was promised. I look inward and breath. I feel sad, but I don't hate them. Jesus Himself said not to hate them. Pray for them. And find one more way to repent of things in my character that are not perfect.
Book of Mark:
Don’t hate them, but also don’t vote for them.
So man should look within himself when confronted with a principality like the Prince of Darkness?

Good post. 2 Cor 10 speaks to what you said.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
In other words, don’t expect God to punish the wicked until your obedience is good. Repent.
In conclusion, I don’t try to figure out the left. There is no logic to their madness. When ever I see a leftist saying another lie, I just read 2 Tim 3 and remember that’s what’s supposed to happen. This is the sign that was promised. I look inward and breath. I feel sad, but I don’t hate them. Jesus Himself said not to hate them. Pray for them. And find one more way to repent of things in my character that are not perfect.
You are still called to battle with the short sword.
Now, God hates. I think that deserves a little consideration as well. Do you hate the sin enough to rebuke? To separate them from the sin? To understand the offense against God. Or is that love/prayer just a nice word you say?
If nothing else , get off your butt and help find the last of the lost sheep so this can be over. But you are going to offend a lot of people in the process, do we really want to do that?

Under the old covenant, God would have sent a prophet with the message “Repent and turn to God.” Under the new Covenant, that is your job to say....................
Generally I’ll say I’m not passive about opposing evil. And that God’s word is my guidebook.
I will speak loudly and against evil. And I will protect the innocent with physical force.
But although I tried, I couldn’t find anything in your post I could disagree with.
These days are still mild compared to what Christians experienced in Germany in the 1930s & 40s. If bad things indicate the end times, then the end times should have come to Germany. Or China, under Mao. Or Russia, under Stalin.
God in establishing our particular form of government left a means that enables the people to fight back against tyranny.

We all know we are mortal, and most have a mind to seek salvation. Your piece does not speak to that ultimate purpose in life, nor to the Way.
That said, Jesus say fit to upset the money-changer tables at the temple. Just sating, some amount of resistance is justified.
But do agree, repentance is mandatory. We must acknowledge our place and our failure.
The big problem with the mark of the beast being figurative or allegory, or anything but a literal, physical mark, is that those without the mark are prohibited from buying or selling.
That prohibition only makes sense with a literal, physical mark. The mark being a mindset or day of worship, does not allow for that prohibition to be enforced.

Why does post remind me of a psalm from King David? How often did King David lay out his complaints/thoughts before the Lord? And conclude with , “but You Oh Lord.”
We are all seeking solid ground and going through the same process as did many of God’s warriors in the Bible.
That prohibition only makes sense with a literal, physical mark.
To the government you are becoming a number more and more. They don’t even want to know your name.
You cant stop it
But that doesn’t mean you don’t fight it
Someone pulls a gun on you and family
