Amen! There is a huge difference between praying for a government leader - which can include praying he’ll repent, and/or that God will restrict his evil - and praying to SUPPORT the evil leader.
Would Richard Land pray for Mao to be successful? For Putin to pass his programs? And I’ll admit I’m getting tired of the Southern Baptist Convention. The “leaders” keep speaking as if they represent the churches in the convention when the vast majority of churches in the convention disagree with them.

He didn’t sign Magna Cum Laude after his name IN THE LETTER. That designation was in the article’s introduction to the author.
