It’s doesn’t help when the State GOP is run by the Keystone Kops.
I read the article to see which way they flipped: for it or against it.

I thought they had cast their tents toward Sodom long ago.
North Dakota only has Catholics and Lutes.
A classic example of CS Lewis’s “Christianity AND X”. The X eventually becomes more important than the Christianity, whether vegetarianism or social justice.
“I’m a person who tries to be open to the working of the Holy Spirit, even when she confuses me with unexpected invitations,”
But then again...............
Eze 14:9 “’And if a prophet is deceived into giving a message, it is because I, the LORD, have deceived that prophet.
Now that should give one pause. GOD DIRECTLY PUTS THE FALSE MESSAGE INTO THE FALSE PROPHET. How can that be? Anyone like that verse? Will you spit it out or chew on it awhile.
If you care to go read it in context, God is giving the people the message they want to hear. He is giving them their hearts desire.
It is very similar to the Israelites in the wilderness. They wanted meat instead of manna. They got enough quail to choke on and they did.
What is the proper response to a false prophet?
We are to look them in the eye and ask, “What does the Lord say on the matter.”
It is a rather encouraging hobby to see them squirm and sputter.
But it echoes back to you and you better get your Bible out to see what God says on the matter.
Maggots usually attack a rotting corpse.
Not all. there are some faithful denominations left.

Being P and $4 will get you a cup of coffee and glass of water
The announcement above and the info on the diocesan website make no mention of any of the actions planned by the new “Provisional Bishop” that the diocese has hired so I don’t know where the headline comes from.
Also note if you read the backup material, you will see that he is a retired bishop who is serving in an interim capacity until they find a permeant bishop and he will only be working 1 week per month for the diocese. I suspect finding someone to serve as Bishop of North Dakota is not an easy tasks. Most rising Bishop candidates want better seats. The Dean of my church (who has been considered for various posts) probably already make more than the Bishop on ND.
