To: Hebrews 11:6

We heard this psalm every morning in auditorium in a public elementary school. Consequently, I know it by heart.

One day in Starbucks I was talking to a friend from a nearby facility who was having deep problems. I mentioned that I knew this psalm by memory and he said “Say it.”

So I did. Everybody on our side of the Starbucks was listening.

I think he is doing much better. I can see it, and his life is improving as well. I pray for him whenever I think of him.

“He restoreth my soul” is one of the most beautiful lines of poetry ever written, I think.

Thanks for this wonderful thread.

Memorizing Scripture enables the Holy Spirit to use it to bless you and others, as you have seen, Toni.

I pray for him whenever I think of him.

I expect, and perhaps you agree, that it is the Spirit bringing him to your awareness precisely in order for you to pray for him. Happens to me all the time.

Interesting "coincidence", isn't it, that your first thread as a "pingee" hit home so squarely.
