“the Vatican have morally endorsed vaccines produced or tested with fetal lines from aborted babies...”

I think this is wrong. Vatican OK’d the 2 new vaccines that used a fetal cell line (HEK-293) for response testing, not vaccines with fetal cell lines actually used in production.

So sorry, I was wrong. From the Vatican document:

“2. In this sense, when ethically irreproachable Covid-19 vaccines are not available... it is morally acceptable to receive Covid-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process.”

https://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20201221_nota-vaccini-anticovid_en.html

Interesting they admit the vaccine is not morally irreproachable, yet it’s acceptable because the abortions in question are “remote” and do not constitute a direct cooperation with evil by the vaccine recipients.

Not true:

Vatican CDF says use of anti-Covid vaccines “morally acceptable”

It is morally acceptable to receive Covid-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process.”

Due to the situation of the ongoing pandemic, “all vaccinations recognized as clinically safe and effective can be used in good conscience with the certain knowledge that the use of such vaccines does not constitute formal cooperation with the abortion from which the cells used in production of the vaccines derive.”
