Really??? As this aspiring priest doesn’t even know how to pronounce “Psalms”? I’m not Catholic but I suppose they are aware of the book of Psalms and know how to pronounce it.
I’m only a Presbyterian and I’ve known how to pronounce that book of the Bible since I was five years old.
We read from Psalms at every Mass. Anyone who doesn’t know how to pronounce it hasn’t been paying attention.
We even call it the Responsorial Psalm.
