I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
1) Called on the Lord in distress [In Faith, surrender to the Sovereignty of God]
2) The Lord answered me [His Love]
3) Set me in a broad place [His Grace]
4) The Lord is on my side [to His Glory]
a) I will not fear [Trust]
b) What can man do to me [Praise]
When God, through His Grace, picks us up and sets us in that invisible "broad place" we are enabled to see the Word more clearly and to join in complete Trust with God's purpose. Distress is replaced with Praise, Joy and Worship - to the Glory of God. Amen.
