Resse was a good guy, from the neighboring state district as mine. Good solid conservative. Very sad.
His district is so sold "R" that the Democrats don't even run a sacraficial lamb.

He wasn’t a Congressman. He was a representative in the state legislature.
There will be a special election in that district at some point which, given the political leanings of the district, should be easily won by another Republican.
