You Must Be Ready
Luk 12:35 “Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning,
We are to be ready for service, dress for action.
Why the lamps? So we can see what is going on and not hide in the dark? To see what we should be doing. If the spiritual lights are on, you are also a target?

Jewish tradition. Groom would go and collect the bride at night, only the grooms father would know the time.
Only those that heard and joined the bridal procession at night would be allowed to partake in the wedding feast.
It’s a very apt anology for the rapture. Be ready and alert wih a light to see thru the fog of evil and see the truth of God clearly.
