because Jesus said he would spit out lukewarm people. If we follow second greatest commandment and don’t know or worse ignore what Jesus said was the greatest commandment then we are displeasing to God and all we do is like filthy rags. God is always first and foremost - it’s His glory and His plans and purposes for people otherwise they are still living for the world/self.
I did start my previous comment with “great” (that Trump made this statement) It’s a joel osteen type statement - Christianity for newbies, meaning the message delivered uses part but not full context of bible scriptures it states.
