His three children were injured. His majesty Boukar Béni is no more. The traditional chief of Satomi village, located near Tolkomari, was killed by terrorists on November 18, 2020. It was around 5 p.m. that the attackers entered his village. They went straight to the chief's field where the chief was dumping fertilizer on his onion plantation with his children.
According to a local source, the lore keeper was already about to leave the field for his home when he was surprised by the presence of the terrorists. Without any form of trial, he will be killed, riddled with bullets. His three children were injured. After their crime, the attackers left without being worried.

Ses trois enfants ont été blessés. Sa majesté Boukar Béni n’est plus. Le chef traditionnel du village Satomi,situé à proximité de Tolkomari, été tué par des terroristes le 18 novembre 2020. C’est aux environs de 17h que les assaillants sont entrés dans son village. Ils se sont rendus directement dans le champ du chef où ce dernier était en train de déverser les engrais dans sa plantation d’oignons en compagnie de ses enfants.
D’après une source locale, le gardien de la tradition s’apprêtait déjà à quitter le champ pour rejoindre son domicile lorsqu’il a été surpris par la présence des terroristes. Sans aucune forme de procès, il sera tué, criblé des balles. Ses trois enfants quant à eux ont été blessés. Après leur forfait, les assaillants sont repartis sans être inquiétés.
