If she went into the conflict zone of syria dressed like she was going to a festival in Valencia it sounds more like a serious mental issue than a desire to join ISIS

Actually the article doesn’t say she was dressed that way in Syria but that they were more used to seeing her dressed for a fiesta than for Jihad. Doesn’t rule out the mental issues, though.
