Did anyone else wonder what the 12th piece of cloth represented in the tearing up of the coat? I was doing the math. Hmmmm Looked it up and not many commented on it. Maybe just another example of the Tribe of Levi being omitted from some lists because of their relationship to the Temple.
Remember when the tribe of Benjamin got greatly reduced, in Judges 20-21? It became a mini-tribe, located in the midst of Judah. So, when Judah split from Israel, Benjamin stayed put: 10-2.
