Reviewing some of these again, some of them for the first time, I’ve decided we have some similar tastes in art. We both like the colorful, creative, unusual settings and arrangements.
The picture of Sarah giving Abraham Hagar I missed before. Abraham doesn’t look reluctant, Hagar looks eager and Sarah looks in charge.
The picture of the brothers selling Joseph is poignant. It shows Joseph’s youth relative to his brothers. I didn’t count the brothers—there should be 9. Benjamin was at home and Reuben was away when they sold Joseph.
I remember the picture of Abraham and the stars of God’s promise. I still think that’s one of the best.
You really cannot infer anything about my art preferences from this series, because I do not post according to them. Instead, I post everything I find. Although I rather agree....
