Interesting, my sister, an evangelical, called and said just pray for the Nation God will hear you. I replied “God does not give a tinkers damn about man made constructs like nations and elections.” “God is concerned for the soul of man not the flesh.” Obviously, I am not an evangelical. Anyway she laughed until she realized I was not joking but before she could say anything I heard my brother-in-law say “exactly.” I love that guy! She said some evangelicals did not vote for Trump because he is not likable...WTH! I reminded her the like and dislike are emotions and should not be used as the basis for voting. But why the hell would evangelicals vote for a man who has been denied communion by his Bishop over his stance on abortion?

Anyway, you mentioned the one entity that would actually want to interfere and participate in the downfall of nations and men. While God is concerned with saving the soul, Satan wants to damn the soul to darkness. She would give a tinkers damn about the constructs of men. (Yes Satan is a female...come on you know I am right) Satan is on the rise in this country and she looks to be winning.

This is why I am so angry and filled with hate today. I believe the United States of America is on life support. I will not see it's demise, she will remain in a death spiral for many decades, there are very few of those left for me. But if we have learned anything from the Obama years the death spiral has begun. My children may not see it's demise, but they will certainly witness her rotting from within. Those who vote for Biden, voted for infanticide and euthanasia (that's coming to a mall near you soon). They hasten our Nations demise. 100 years from now there will not be one Nation Under God. The only hope is a catastrophic event that will bring her to her knees and wise people rebuild her as a great Nation again. That may be the only divine intervention we will get.

Sure he does, but maybe not in the way we'd like him to. Read the Old Testament sometime. We can dispute about whether God cares for nations other than Israel or has any special benevolence toward them. I think God's benevolence toward nations other than Israel can exist, but it is in proportion to that nation's obedience to God.

The USA in 2020 has flunked the "obedience to God" test in dramatic fashion. Keep in mind that for God to punish evildoers swiftly is a sign of benevolence (2 Macc 6:12-16). The longer he lets us persist in our sins, the worse it will be for us.

You are absolutely right that the US is on life support, if not already dead.
