The belief that life evolved from nothing is absurd.....this theory was hatched up as a challenge to Creationism. The truth is if you believe in spontaneous life ...you believe that at some point in time a rock came to life. One physicist when confronted with the fact that the chances of that happening was well witin being mathematically impossible responded “never the less that’s what I believe”.
One of the strange things about what we have discovered in the past 40 years is that the story of the creation and flood is consistent with what we are discovering through science. In fact, there is more proof for his excitance and the truth of his word and message than anytime in history. Which has led to say it no longer takes faith in the bible. (Of course, it is impossible to please God without faith.)
