Of course, but a Biden/Harris win will mean Socialism, death, and the sooner coming of antichrist, rather than America standing strong as the friend of Israel and the protector of our God-given rights to life and to liberty. Piper has written as if the two outcomes are equal. They are not. If PDJT wins it means God is being merciful to us as a nation and granting the unsaved a few more precious months in which to come to Jesus. Because we do not know God's timing, we should be using our votes and our voices as Christians in America for a PDJT outcome.
I think and hope you are right and will vote for President Trump this time, but if PDJT does not submit to and glorify the living, in the flesh, Almighty King Jesus, he is doomed whether he wins the election or not. The there is precedent for nations paying for the sins of it's leaders. It may be much worse for us because we believe, in these United States, that "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"
Make no mistake, winning can be a curse too.
Here's an example, from 2016, of how that could happen in President Trump's second term:
In an interview on 1 May 2016, on CNBC, Donald Trump broke with tired clichés about the evils of federal debt accumulation. I am the king of debt, he said. I love debt. I love playing with it.
But he replaced fearmongering about debt with an even more alarming notion a bankruptcy of the United States federal government that would incinerate the world economy.
I would borrow, knowing that if the economy crashed, you could make a deal, . And if the economy was good, it was good. So therefore, you cant lose.
