Heavenly Father, All-Knowing, Everlasting, We humbly come before You in the Precious Name of Jesus. We are not worthy to be in Your Presence but by the Shed Blood of Your Son, Jesus.
In the midst of all this mayhem we are experiencing in our nation, may we be mindful that THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME. Colossians 3:1-2 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
As we pray for America we cannot forget those who are being ravaged by Hurricane Delta and ask for Your Mercy, Comfort and Hope. We pray that Christians will be led to donate and/or in other ways help in the disaster relief.
It is difficult not to be anxious these days when we are constantly being bombarded with anti-God, anti-Sovereignty, anti-President of the United States rhetoric as well as the sadness and uncertainty the COVID virus has brought to families and businesses. Your Scripture (Philippians 4:5-9) reminds us Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me (Paul), or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Help us be mindful and focused on Your Word and help us share with others during these uncertain and perilous times. For even many churches are ignoring their God-commanded priorities and instead are directing their attention on social mores.
We thank You for answered prayer for President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania and ask for a continued hedge of protection around them, Vice-President Pence, their families, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, those serving in the military, those providing security for our country, and healthcare workers. We pray that all who serve in an advisory capacity to the President are under Your Authority. We pray that all federal, state and government employees who are self-serving or undermining Your Will for this country will be exposed and removed from their positions.
We ask that factuality and integrity prevail in these last days before the election as well during the confirmation hearings of a new Supreme Court Justice, Amy Coney Barrett . . .we pray for fair voting procedures, fair media coverage, and the end to vile accusations and actions against our President as well as those in positions of authority (including local, state and national candidates) who purport righteousness, liberty and justice for all. We are seeing right before our very eyes elected officials that are unabashedly undermining the influence of the Church in our country with unprecedented actions that are seemingly equated with anti-Christian countries. Please remove them from office.
We ask for Your Mercy . . . we are in trouble because our nation has turned its back on You. Let naysayers and evil doers see Your miracle of restoring much needed truth and righteousness to our nation. . . a mighty work so stupendous that everyone will cry out “Look what the Lord has done!”
We pray for those who have yet to experience growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please make daily divine appointments for us to witness of Your Saving Grace and please empower us to use our Spiritual gifts for Your Glory and to serve others.

If it be Your Will, that there would be an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.

Abba Father, we are a sin sick nation because we have turned our backs on You and delusionally imagine that we are whole and perfect in our own sight. But we are critically sick in our sins and need you, our Physician, to heal our souls. O Lord, we humbly beseech you O Lord to send the Holy Spirit upon our land in a powerful way to convict the sin sick of their sins and desperate need of you O Lord! As our nations peoples prepare for further voting ahead at the polls we bring each one to you at this hour...give them ears to hear your truth and eyes to see reality in regard to their selection, that their vote would reflect your will for the man you desire to lead this nation .....we also pray for the Electoral College members...that they would be moved to vote according to the majority voters in their state.
Lord, we have concerns for such a divided nation as we have today but we also accept and understand there are sides which will must be taken when there's a war between good and evil, life and death, truth and lies as the enemy of men's souls strives to obtain the upper hand. Give the people wisdom to recognize the difference and take the road of righteousness for the good of this nation.
We ask this knowing that you know how to move the stronghold of resistance in peoples hearts and minds. So we ask believing your will and purposes will be forthcoming in this election.
