I read about an American family that moved to France to start a business. They hired a boy just out of school. He was taught in school when to report an employer who had violated some rule or other. So, he reported them. If I recall, it wasn’t something Earth shattering. The full force of the law dropped on them and they got fined and eventually had to leave France as one thing led to another and there was a cascade of insanity apparently unique to French law. The boy cried as he had no idea what he was doing except what he was taught to do in school.
From other things I have read about French school, it’s how socialists are made.

Kids who were taught to turn their parents in under Communism and Nazism probably were equally shocked.
Wonder if kids who tell their school nurse about their parents’ guns are aware of what they are doing when they answer those questions.
