Abortion is THE Preeminent issue because it is ALWAY the taking of an innocent human life, and it occurs in such horrific large number that it supersedes the other issues on this Bishop's list.

Especially, since most of those issues are LIES and mischaracterizations, such as failing to distinguish ILLEGAL immigration from legal immigration, pretending the racial disparity in arrests is "racism", and that the duty of Individual charity somehow obliges government to undermine incentives to work.

No, we don't have to be "single issue voters", but we must be "disqualifying issue voters." If a candidate and/or his party's platform support ripping babies from their mothers wombs and/or supports unnatural "marriage"between anyone other than a biological man and a biological woman, in conscience I as a Christian Catholic CANNOT vote for that person. His or her positions on these issues (or others) has disqualified them from getting my vote.
