It's the twisted theological underpinning of the constant Bergoglian harangue "don't proselytize". Essentially, it's a formal, written abdication of the "Great Commission".

The guiding principle is that the preaching of the truth of Jesus Christ is an obstacle to peace which is the overarching priority. In other words, let's not worry too much about the truth.....let's just get along.
