Scott Saul's church has a reputation, at least among Nashville Catholics, of harboring a nasty streak of anti-Catholic bigotry, e.g., of being impossible to work with on pro-life issues because they refuse to work irenically with Catholics.

It's that particular church, too, not a "PCA thing". I got to be friends with the minister of the next nearest PCA church. He kindly tried to convert me, I kindly tried to convert him, neither succeeded, but it was all in good fun and friendship.

Not a trace of nastiness or bigotry from him toward this Catholic man; he was just a fine Christian gentleman. Unfortunately, he was forced out of the pastorate of his church. I don't know why.

I do not see abortion as a place any one who claims Christ in their lives can not work together.

In fact, non-Christians may also hold such pro-life stances.

I applaud all who help.
