Atheists supporting the 1st Amendment? Yikes!

The ACLU used to do this sort of thing from time to time (Nazis marching in Skokie, IL being the most infamous case). They no longer have an interest of broad application of their mission any more,and there is still a small and shrinking audience of old school leftists who still try to be consistent on the free speech thing, perhaps because they see where this will go if left unchecked.

Even back then, it was speculated that the ACLU's Skokie Nazis lawsuit was intended to drive Jews out of the ACLU and bring in some new blood that didn't support 1st Amendment protection so much as it supported, uh, something else. I used to think that was a little paranoid, but...
