Do you think that God really cares whether you use a minus sign or an o to spell his name? Since you use the minus sign so much doesn’t it just become the same word? Don’t you think that God might be a little perturbed that the minus sign messes with the pronunciation of his name, which is God? Do you think God wants you to say geedashdee? Oh mighty Geedashdee please favor me on this day. Why don’t you spell it -od or Go- ? I get that it’s really hard to find a capital hyphen but why not Go-? Dear Gohyphen hear my prayer! There might be some debates down at the seminary about whether it’s Geedashdee ir Geehyphendee, and what do you do about the ones who insist that the true name of God is Geeminusigndee?

If men were completely perfect as Almighty God is then there would be no need for the Torah, an altar, shed blood, a Passover Lamb, a sacrifice on Yom Kippur or the seed of the woman, the seed (singular) of Abraham, Issac and Jacob or the Righteous Lamb for Adam’s fallen race. As Abraham told Issac, God will (then and PERFECTLY future) a Lamb (Isa. 53)! And He has! Matt. 1:21-23, 1 John 4:10, 2 Cor. 5:12-21
