In April 2019, we shared one of the most shocking stories we've dealt with at the Christian Legal Centre. Kristie was mercilessly sacked for gross misconduct simply for sharing concerns about mandatory Relationships and Sex Education to her friends on Facebook.
Kristie's story captured the attention of national media and caused outrage to Christians and even many non-Christians across the country. Kristie is so down to earth, so gentle, so normal, people realised that what happened to her could happen to any of us.

Today, a year and a half after she was fired, Kristie's case will finally be heard in court as the Christian Legal Centre team challenge her dismissal.
Please pray:
* for Pavel as he presents Kristie's case at the Employment Tribunal in Bristol
* that the members of the tribunal would understand the arguments and have sympathy with the arguments and with Kristie
* that press and media coverage would highlight the problems Christians face when speaking up for the truth
* for Kristie as she gives evidence; that she would have a sense of God's presence and that she would be calm, compelling and clear as she testifies.

In public schools, the classroom is no place to proselytize. (Of course, a lot of what passes as "secular" education could, indeed, also be classified as proselytizing.)
