At the Holy Spirit's prompting, I am surveying "Bible art" to give God glory, as many of these artists have done, and for my own amusement and learning; and I thought others might enjoy it and be blessed by it, too. My plan is to proceed methodically from left-to right, Genesis to Revelation, as the Lord wills. Back soon with another.
The Bible encourages us to meditate on it (Ps. 1:1-3, 119:11-16, etc.); these artists have done so, and their works can assist us and enrich our own thoughts about biblical characters, incidents and concepts, and increase our faith in He who is behind it all. As you encounter and consider these images and the related Scriptures and the Spirit enlightens your understanding, please share it with us!
But it is not only oil-on-canvas that can so help us; I refer to the astonishing video series The Chosen, which strolls through the four Gospels at the most leisurely pace. The eight episodes of Season 1 are finished, and the second of a planned seven seasons is coming soon. I say "leisurely" because after an entire years viewing Jesus still has only seven of the apostles (although He's preparing to call up Thomas from the minor leagues--but Thomas is skeptical, of course). Anticipating a canvas of fifty-plus hours instead of a movie's paltry two hours, The Chosen turns the characters (especially including Jesus!) into three-dimensional humans and brings the Gospels alive--you have never seen anything even remotely like it! Here is the Official Trailer.
Here is a link for free viewing of The Chosen: Works with your phone, tablet, and you can cast to your Roku or Chromecast. Last fall I paid $34.98 for DVDs and ongoing internet accessbest 35 bucks Ive ever spent (I dont recall how much our marriage license cost, but then it was 42 years ago).

Knew that was coming—should have known it would be you. Took less than four minutes.

Wrong Orpah! (The 20th Century Parents of OW misspelled the name, and admitted it later on but it was two late to change it.)

My Mom went into labor with ME while watching “You Bet Your Life” on TV.
Which explains a LOT.

First reactions to my picture scan:
1. Naomi is depicted many ways, looking from 40 to 60 or more. Considering they were in Moab 10 years, and her sons married there, probably in their 20s, and Naomi was perhaps 20 at her first child, that’ put her in her 50s.
2. Some of the pictures are great in showing Ruth’s love for Naomi.
3. Orpah’s departure is shown many ways: reluctant, carefree, sad. She is shown departing reluctantly in the Bible after Naomi’s plea for the daughters-in-law to leave her.
4. I still get a kick out of seeing the European clothing used. Yet, since the pictures were for a European audience, perhaps that’s best.

I don’t recall seeing by HENDRICK GOLTZIUS” before. I really liked his woodcut. The figures are very expressive and detailed. I get the feeling these are real figures of real women.

It's wonderful to read your interactions with the works. I dare not include mine in the text so as not to spoil the viewers' experience--and also by then I already have enough time invested.
Quite aside from commenting about the art, I also crave viewers' revelations of how the art and text impact them spiritually. I hope most people take their time scrolling down, as you obviously do, to give the Holy Spirit a hearing.

We've had several by Goltzius previously. Now that you've noticed him, you'll always notice him.
I always wonder whether anyone besides me pays attention to the grey-toned engravings. Not able to use subtleties of color, their makers must get very creative to make an impact. In my opinion Doré was the master, but Goltzius ranks in the top tier.
