I see--I looked again at Strong's and find, as you said, it only appears in Matt14:9 and those verses in Acts--no other NT uses. So I agree it was a supernatural vision to the three Apostles.

But having now settled that, I'm not seeing the point. Of course Moses and Elijah appearing on the mount was a vision of some kind--people from heaven do not ordinarily appear to earthlings, whether in corporeal or just visual form-- but how does that bear on the original question?

The original question was whether Moses ascended to heaven and there was no body. Matt 17: vision of the Moses and Elijah was cited as a proof of that. My point was it isn’t necessarily proof.

This is probably way too many words over a negligible point.
