I’m not trying to defend the Vatican bureaucracy here (whatever be the proper name for it — Curia?), but is it at least possible “Harriet” has an agenda, copyright notwithstanding? Cardinal Pell — a lightning rod for calumny from Left field — seems kind of peripheral to the story itself, but there he is, featured in two of the first three paragraphs.
Nothing surprises me about these evil a-holes.
