Thanks for your reply. I am aware that some believe the land of Magog to be Turkey due to maps of ancient Lydia.
The way things political have changed in Turkey since Erdowan took over, would seem to support that view. But Moscow is more directly north of Israel than Lydia. Also, the description of the huge invasion of Israel coming down from the north we see in Ezek. 38, 39 looks more like Russia. Turkey’s military, at least so far, doesn’t appear to fit that description.
I’ll be watching to see which is these interpretations is the right one.
