Comparing Pope John Paul II with the current Pope is foolish. JP2 embodied authentic Love..... PopeFrancis doesnt even seem to be a happy person... let alone someone who displays a genuine affection for humanity like JP2.

Now keep in mind this picture was taken before 9/11.... and the jihadi’s hadn’t gotten into gear yet. But it was taken years after The Pope was almost assassinated by a Turkish guy, who the Pope forgave, visited him in prison and asked for the early release of his would be assassin - who years later denounced the Muslim faith and converted to Catholicism. Hey let’s not forget, The guy is a little crazy to begin with...Miracles....(ok a bad try at humor for the Protestant brethren out there)

This picture was also taken after the first WTC bombing by Islamic fundamentalists, and who the masterminds were finally caught some years later, with plans that were discovered to blow up JP2 in another attempt on his life. You would think the Krakow Bishop has got to be saying “what the hell ?” by now....

Well, here’s the rub... as Pope he has to represent the appointed head- the human leader of the Bishops, and of Christ’s 2000 year old Church. He kinda has to genuinely follow those commandments Christ laid down....”Love thy neighbor as yourself”,,,, and “Love thy enemies”.... thankfully we don’t have to believe In that stuff...but the POPE MUST follow those scriptures, he has no choice!....3:17 +++ For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

And what is the ONLY way that happen’s? Through God’s Love for every soul he created.

Now if you don’t think the Muslim people saw the Love of JP2 for them when looking at that picture, for people who do not share the same faith, but the same creator, and so Showing a Love extending to all humanity as well.... then you don’t have a heart beat.. What an incredible self emptied man it takes to have that Deep of a Love for a people who reject him, and who had tried to kill him.... “For they know not what they do......“

Anyone who looks at that picture you are using to throw shade on JP2 doesn’t understand that he is not accepting Muslim tenets or devaluing Christianity..... but that he is the embodiment of what Christ wanted for us....unconditional Love... we don’t have it.... but St. John Paul II was blessed with it.

I’m sure God was pretty ok with the pic.......
